Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Shawnee Mission, KS. The ideal candidate will manage weekly vendor invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accurate data entry into the ERP system and timely payment runs.

Responsibilities include handling ACH runs, resolving vendor inquiries, and producing ad hoc reports while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment. 2+ years' AP experience and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, working with vendors and purchase orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the weekly vendor check and ACH runs in an accurate and timely manner.
• Obtain invoices from corporate departments and accurately input them into the ERP system for approval and posting.
• Manage accounts payable with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to branch and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Demonstrate good computer skills and the ability to learn new computer functionality.
• Work well with others through all methods of communication.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting to management when needed.
