Job summary

Associa, a nationwide community association management leader, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Richardson, TX. You will process AP for a multi-entity organization, ensure accurate coding, and support month-end close.

You will collaborate with branch controllers, vendors, and internal teams, drive process improvements, and assist with automation projects while managing high-volume data.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in accounting/finance or related field.
• 2+ years of accounts payable / corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Excel/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and review AP transactions for a multi-entity organization.
• Review invoices and payment activity for accuracy and proper coding.
• Monitor AP aging, investigate discrepancies and payment issues.
• Assist with month-end close and AP reconciliations.
• Collaborate with branch controllers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve AP questions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
• Support automation, system enhancements, and AP-related projects.
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
