Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a rapidly growing organization to fill an Accounting Associate role. You will support staff accountants, focus on accounts payable, and assist with accounts receivable, payroll support, and other bookkeeping tasks across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with QuickBooks (Yardi is a plus).

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, payroll support, or a related accounting-support role.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity accounting environment is preferred.
• Strong accounts payable experience including invoice processing, coding, and vendor communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day accounting support to Staff/Senior Accountants and Leadership.
• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
• Assist with vendor setup, maintenance, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Support payroll-related processes and maintain employee/payroll records as needed.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records across multiple entities and bank accounts.
• Prepare reports and documentation for the accounting team.
• Support month-end/year-end activities and reconciliations.
