Job summary

Associa, a leading community-management company in Richardson, TX, seeks an AP Specialist to manage end-to-end payment processing, including domestic and international transactions, disbursements, and exception handling. You will liaise with IT and Finance to ensure NACHA compliance and timely settlements.

Responsibilities include reviewing stop payments, maintaining SOPs, and supporting unclaimed property reporting, 1099s, and related processes.

Qualifications

3+ years in a payment processing environment.
Knowledge of NACHA operating rules and ACH network.
Experience with ACH processing systems.
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivots, formulas) and MS Office.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end payment processing for domestic and international transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
Balance, validate, print, and distribute general disbursements.
Investigate and resolve payment exceptions, rejections, and returns, including stop payments.
Maintain communication with IT to troubleshoot failed transactions and system issues.
Ensure adherence to NACHA requirements and internal controls.
Collaborate with Finance and Treasury to meet KPIs and SLAs.
Support annual 1099 and unclaimed property reporting.
