Job summary

Winter Services, LLC is seeking an Account Manager in Cedar Rapids, IA with a strong background in snow removal, landscaping, and customer relations. The role focuses on managing customer accounts transitioned from the General Manager and supporting snow removal and landscape projects to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, renewals in Salesforce, identifying expansion opportunities, budgeting, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping/lawn services including design, maintenance, irrigation, and horticulture.
• Proven track record of managing customer accounts and delivering projects.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills for client and team rapport.
• Proficient in project management and budgeting.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with landscaping software (Aspire, Salesforce, Netsuite or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work with General Manager, Operations Team and senior leadership.
• Goal-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong integrity and work ethic.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to visit sites and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Transition and onboard new customers with General Manager.
• Serve as primary contact for existing and new accounts.
• Manage renewals via CRM (Salesforce) and GM.
• Identify service expansion opportunities in landscape/snow removal.
• Identify property enhancement projects based on customer needs/priorities.
• Collaborate on enhancement job costing to meet productivity and margin goals.
• Prepare and present enhancement proposals to meet quarterly sales goals.
• Record enhancement proposals in Salesforce and maintain pipeline.
• Provide weekly CRM reports showing progress and sales results.
• Prioritize enhancement projects for each customer’s property.
• Coordinate and manage approved landscaping projects to timelines and budgets.
• Schedule crews with Operations Manager and allocate resources.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Communicate account status and financial performance to senior management.
• Assist customers with year-round budget planning.
