Job summary

Green Garden Landscaping in the Seattle area is seeking an Account Manager who can nurture client relationships, translate needs into profitable work, and manage the handoff from proposal to production.

You will qualify opportunities, build scopes, prepare proposals, and coordinate with operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining high-end service for residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management, landscape sales, estimating, or a comparable high-touch service role.
• Strong ability to qualify opportunities, develop scopes, prepare proposals, and guide clients toward clear decisions.
• Working knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, irrigation, enhancements, or design-build work; Pacific Northwest experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accepted sales opportunities from qualification through site visit, estimating, proposal, follow-up, close, and complete production handoff.
• Build clear, accurate scopes that capture site conditions, client expectations, pricing, exclusions, timing, and all promises made.
• Sell suitable, profitable maintenance, irrigation, enhancement, and design-build work that fits Green Garden’s capabilities and schedule.
• Maintain proactive relationships with assigned clients through timely updates, property reviews, issue resolution, and dependable follow-through.
• Protect client retention by identifying concerns early, coordinating solutions, and closing the communication loop.
• Identify appropriate enhancement and property-improvement opportunities that add real value for the client.
• Keep CRM records, opportunities, proposals, follow-up dates, client notes, and handoff information complete and current.
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Production so accepted work is ready to schedule and field teams receive everything needed to succeed.
• Communicate pricing, scope, access, schedule, and change information accurately; never leave field teams to guess at client expectations.
• Track assigned sales and account results, explain gaps, and recommend specific actions to improve conversion, retention, and profitable growth.
