Job summary

SAP SE in San Francisco is launching a 10-month learn-apply program for Account Executives within the SAP Next Gen – Academy for Customer Success. You will complete classroom and field phases with your sales team, gaining hands-on experience in a customer-facing function that drives value across the lifecycle.

Upon successful completion, you will transition into a direct sales role in your market, with mentoring and coaching to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a quota-carrying tech sales environment or similar exposure to business processes.
• Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines across a defined territory.
• Collaborative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
• Strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.
• Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics, to identify business problems solvable with AI.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
• Proficiency in English to engage with a global network.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete a 10-month learn-apply program with classroom and field phases.
• Immerse yourself in experiential learning focusing on digital transformation, global intelligence, and AI-related skills.
• Learn to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and renewals.
• Receive onboarding in your local market with mentoring by a Senior Account Executive.
• Move into a direct customer-facing sales role after program completion.
• Participate in sales scope: AE and SSE.
