Job summary

Motion Industries in Amarillo, TX seeks an Account Representative I to grow its book of business by converting competitors' clients and expanding medium-sized accounts to large ones. You will generate new leads, present solutions, and coordinate vendor resources while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years’ experience, travel flexibility, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and general industrial products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence customers while maintaining relationships.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Increases revenue and profitability through new business and development of existing accounts.
• Generates new leads through networking, cold calling, and researching directories and online sources.
• Routinely interacts face-to-face with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Translates customer requirements into customized quotes and ensures technical requirements are met.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and assists with on-site troubleshooting as needed.
• Coordinates vendor resources to support sales activities.
