Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Absence Advocate to support leave, accommodations, and workers' compensation programs across North America. You will manage a large caseload, coordinate with TPAs, and ensure timely, compliant processes for FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and related benefits transitions.

The role requires collaboration with HR Business Partners and business stakeholders, with opportunities for remote work within Eastern/Central time zones and a hybrid setup in Atlanta, GA or other locations within

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline and 2 years of related experience in absence management, leave administration, or accommodations.
Strong knowledge of FMLA regulations and lifecycle administration; ADA accommodation fundamentals; PWFA accommodations.
Experience with HRIS, leave management, and case management systems such as Workday, AbsenceTracker, Service Station, UKG/Kronos.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

Manage and support approximately 100 active leave and accommodation cases concurrently.
Provide triage, resolution, and outcome management for absence, accommodation, and workers' compensation cases.
Coordinate with TPAs, HR partners, and stakeholders to support compliant case management.
Assist across U.S. and Canada leave programs; monitor FMLA lifecycle and RTW.
Handle inbound/outbound communications via phone, chat, and email; de-escalate as needed.
Coordinate ADA and PWFA accommodations with HR and cross-functional teams.
