Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth events. Reports to Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology.

On site, you will handle setup, operation, breakdown, and ongoing client communication; lift up to 50 lbs; a valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment per event needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Coordinate with hotel staff and vendors; ensure invoices and paperwork are accurate.
• Follow company processes, complete system entries and use Navigator for orders as needed.
