Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. seeks a Solution Engineer to serve as a technical trusted advisor across aerospace, defense, and government system integrator accounts.

You will uncover program requirements, architect compliant solutions, and build POCs with Agentforce and GovCloud+ to move programs from interest to commitment. You will design tailored demos, articulate security posture, support RFI/RFP responses, and collaborate with account teams to accelerate pipeline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solution/Sales Engineer for CRM or mission IT with A&D/Federal SI customers.
• Hands-on with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Platform to prototype workflows.
• AI fluency: LLMs, RAG, agentic design, safety and governance for complex programs.
• Run technical/business discovery, define use cases, and craft architecture/activation plans.
• Familiarity with CMMC and federal compliance in prime/SI contexts.
• Strong written/verbal/whiteboard communication for executives and engineers.
• Able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-selling environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically; U.S. citizenship required/DoD clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with A&D primes and Federal SIs to understand program goals and constraints.
• Map customer challenges to Salesforce products: Sales/Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, GovCloud+.
• Design and deliver demos/POC solutions for A&D/SI use cases (program management, logistics).
• Architect Agentforce solutions including agent design, grounding, multi-agent orchestration.
• Articulate Salesforce security/compliance posture to evaluators.
• Contribute technical content for RFI/RFPs and architecture docs.
• Collaborate with Account Execs, Capture Managers, and Customer Success in team selling.
• Build reusable POC assets, playbooks, and best-practice guides for A&D delivery.
• Provide Voice of the Customer insights to Product and Marketing.
