Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to translate complex enterprise programs into scalable cloud solutions for Aerospace & Defense and Government System Integrator accounts in the United States. You will act as a technical trusted advisor and deal quarterback, crafting compliant, proof-of-concept environments that move programs from interest to commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution or Sales Engineer for CRM/enterprise SaaS or mission IT with defense/Federal SI customers preferred.
• Hands-on experience prototyping agentic workflows and integration patterns from scratch.
• Knowledge of LLMs, RAG/grounding, agentic system design, and governance for complex environments.
• Ability to run technical and business discovery with prime programs and SI teams; define use cases and architecture.
• Familiarity with CMMC and federal compliance frameworks; ability to speak with executives and engineers.
• Strong written, verbal, and whiteboard communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Engage with A&D primes and Federal SIs to understand goals, constraints, and requirements.
• Map customer challenges to Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, GovCloud+.
• Design and deliver demos and POC solutions for A&D/SI use cases, including program management and supply chain visibility.
• Architect Agentforce solutions for A&D environments, including grounding, multi-agent orchestration, and production readiness.
• Articulate Salesforce security/compliance posture to evaluators and security officers.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical content and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with account executives and success teams to drive pursuit strategy and pipeline.
• Create reusable POC assets and playbooks; feed Voice of the Customer back to product.
