Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Technician to support network operations in the Elkhart area, applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve performance and reliability. The role involves contributing to outages, managing project segments, and creating procedural documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–4 years in field operations and wireless telecommunications. Eligible candidates may relocate to the area where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• 2-4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
• 2-4 years Wireless telecommunications or related experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of 5G NR, RAN, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery and data services

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
