Job summary

T-Mobile in the Lafayette, Kokomo, Logansport area seeks a Technician to support network operations by applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve performance and reliability. You will provide technical assistance, manage smaller projects, and help implement process improvements in collaboration with senior technicians.

The role requires knowledge of 5G NR, RAN, backhaul, disaster recovery, and data services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 2-4 years of field operations and maintenance experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of wireless telecommunications or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
