Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks a Technician to support network operations by applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability across sites in Elkhart area.

The role requires understanding of radio access networks, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services. You will manage smaller projects, develop job aids, and contribute to process improvements, with training to stay current on systems and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or combination of education and experience
• Vocational/Technical Training or related field preferred
• 2-4 years in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
• 2-4 years Wireless telecommunications or related experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
