Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Technician to support network operations across Elkhart area and surroundings, applying technical knowledge to maintain performance and reliability. The role involves technical assistance, small project work, and process improvements impacting network stability and service quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–4 years in field operations or wireless telecom, and strong skills in 5G NR, base stations, RAN, and network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required).
• 2-4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred).
• 2-4 years Wireless telecommunications or related experience (Preferred).
• 5G NR, base station, disaster recovery planning, network troubleshooting, radio access networks, and wireless backhaul are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts.
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required.
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management.
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
