Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is seeking a Shift Manager for Taco Bell restaurants in California. This non-exempt role requires the ability to lead by example, motivate teams across all shifts, and deliver 5-star customer service to guests and colleagues on duty.

You will act as MIC, supervise daily operations, train and develop future leaders, and support upper management in achieving restaurant financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Restaurant experience preferred with leadership across all shifts.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Must be able to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical requirements: Stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds, repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-star service to all customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to succeed; verify duties are completed on time.
• Train and develop individuals interested in leadership roles with feedback.
• Serve as MIC and uphold company policies and standards.
• Assist upper leadership with achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Keep upper leadership informed about issues at the restaurant.
