Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a dedicated SOC professional to monitor and dispatch alarms and incidents around the world, 24/7. You will manage emergency and non-emergency messages, escalations, and communications for a multi-location organization with a large workforce.

The role requires calm under pressure, teamwork, and strong Microsoft Office skills. On-site work at the Redmond, Washington SOC is required, with a 3rd shift schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the security or technology industry.
• Energetic, enthusiastic yet calm under pressure.
• Able to speak up and be heard, driven to make your mark globally.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Computer skills; Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience within the SOC environment (preferred).
• Security, military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide alarm and incident monitoring and dispatching, globally 24/7 for hundreds of locations and 100,000+ people.
• Respond to all alarm events and customer inquiries quickly and efficiently.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
• Take ownership on inquiries and follow through.
• Work unsupervised while maintaining professionalism.
• Ensure awareness of SOPs for emergency procedures and safety.
• Prioritize self- and colleague-safety and wellbeing at work.
• Model the company's Transformation Code of Conduct.
