Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator for on‑site work at their Interactive Security Operations Center in Missouri. You will manage real‑time interactions during critical security events, handling live audio communication, two‑way surveillance, and rapid decision making to resolve incidents and coordinate with customers and emergency services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professionalism and care in all interactions.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate responses.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to remain calm and positive in high‑pressure situations, demonstrating professionalism during urgent or critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations to identify vulnerabilities and unusual activities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening, closing, or upon request.
• Communicate with customer locations using state‑of‑the‑art two‑way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on alarm severity or instructions, including customer contact or requesting emergency services (police, fire, medical).
• Answer inbound phone calls to resolve, elevate, or support security and system‑related inquiries from customers, employees, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the automation system.
• Monitor, verify, and respond to alarm signals; place outgoing telephone calls to verify alarm validity and perform video verification.
• Notify specified individuals via telephone of alarms or events according to customer instructions.
• Provide life‑safety support by ensuring timely dispatch and accurate alarm communication to emergency personnel.
• Assist with alarm support functions such as arming, disarming, and resetting alarms/signals.
• Manage live audio interactions in response to alarm events or customer requests, using two‑way audio systems.
• Intervene during real‑time incidents, project authority, and maintain clear communication.
• Handle situations such as loitering, trespassing, or other security violations, de‑escalating or making rapid decisions as needed.
• Document all interactions and ensure proper follow‑up for incident resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life‑safety interventions.
