What you will do
- Provide alarm and incident monitoring, dispatching, emergency and non‑emergency security messaging, and incident escalation globally, 24/7 for an organization covering hundreds of locations, over 100,000 people, and 100+ countries.
- Respond to all alarm events and answer incoming customer alarm calls quickly and efficiently.
- Action and respond to internal and external customer emails.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Take ownership of queries where possible and follow through.
- Work unsupervised and maintain professionalism.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring awareness, compliance with SOPs for emergency, evacuation, security, accident, incident, hazard reporting, and self‑reporting.
- Take practical steps to ensure personal health and safety, e.g., micro‑pausing, stretching, exercising.
- Role model Johnson Controls' Transformation Code of Conduct (CoC).

- Security, military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience (preferred).
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
- Must be able and willing to work in person at the SOC located in Redmond.
- U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
- Candidate must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 no later than the start date, unless a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precludes them from receiving the vaccine.
Compensation and Benefits
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26 - $28 (Hourly rate to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and market data.)
