Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility.

This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and ensure safe, reliable operations. The position requires reading P&IDs and electrical/mechanical diagrams, 3rd shift availability, and experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience involving industrial or manufacturing machinery, or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.
• Experience in at least two areas: Electrical systems, Mechanical systems, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Food-manufacturing process controls.
• Must be able to work the third-shift schedule and weekends as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
• Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
• Work closely with production personnel and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
• Accurately document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and follow-up needs electronically with maintenance and production team members.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areas.
• Follow all GMP requirements, safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
