Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld Artec Leo systems on diverse site projects. You will capture data on concrete structures, pipes, and machine parts, validate scans on site, and process results in Artec Studio for client-ready deliverables.

You must be comfortable on active construction sites, able to travel regionally, and hold a valid driver’s license. The role offers on-site field work with potential overtime and travel allowances.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience operating a handheld structured-light or laser scanner on real projects.
• Working knowledge of Artec Studio or comparable scan-processing software; mesh cleanup, registration, and export.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings (SolidWorks, Fusion, Inventor, or Revit).
• Comfortable on active construction sites and in industrial plants; able to carry equipment, climb, and work outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of rebar and embeds before concrete placement, failed structures, corroded pipes, and machine parts.
• Control drift on large objects with reference features and overlapping zones.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio: registration, fusion, mesh cleanup, texture, and export to STL/OBJ/E57/CAD.
• Produce deviation maps, reports, and anchor bolt coordinates against drawings or CAD.
• Build scan-to-CAD solids (STEP/IGES) for reverse engineering and fit-up checks.
