Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners (Artec Leo) on active construction sites across the region. You will capture, process, and deliver meshes, point clouds, reports, and scan-to-CAD files that clients can act on, with on-site verification and drift control.

The role requires travel to regional hubs, a valid driver's license, and experience with Artec Studio and CAD reading.

Competenze

Hands-on experience operating handheld scanners on real projects.
Familiarity with Artec Studio or similar processing software.
Ability to read structural or fabrication drawings and CAD files.
Comfortable on active construction sites and able to travel with equipment.
Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Mansioni

Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of rebar, embeds, and structures before pours.
Control drift on large objects with reference features and measurement backbones.
Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL/OBJ/E57/CAD.
Produce deviation maps, reports, and anchor bolt coordinates against drawings.
Build scan-to-CAD solids (STEP/IGES) or provide clean meshes to modeling team.
Document procedures, equipment settings, and chain of custody.
Coordinate access, permits, safety, and travel with field contacts.
