Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a 3D Heterogeneous Integration Development Intern to contribute to advanced packaging and process-integration development. You will perform DOEs, analyze data, build process models, and support daily activities with engineers.

The role targets students from EE, ME, ChemE, or Materials Science, including sophomores through PhD candidates, with English proficiency and a 40-hour work week. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Student pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE/ME/ChemE/Materials Science or related field during internship.
• GPA: Overall 3.0 and in good standing.
• Language: English (written & verbal).
• Travel: Up to 10%.
• Hours: Available to work at least 40 hours per week during internship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform DOEs using internal semiconductor tooling and external partners.
• Analyze and interpret engineering data from experiments and characterizations.
• Develop or support process models to improve packaging and integration performance.
• Assist engineers with daily integration, process development, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
• Summarize results and communicate findings and next steps to stakeholders.
