Job summary

GlobalFoundries invites students in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Science to join our 6‑month 3D Heterogeneous Integration Development Intern role. You will assist advanced packaging development, run DOEs, analyze data, and support daily integration tasks alongside engineering teams.

Candidates must be a sophomore or higher, maintain a 3.0+ GPA, and be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or higher in an accredited degree program.
• Must pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• English proficiency for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform design of experiments (DOEs) using internal tooling.
• Analyze engineering data from experiments and process optimizations.
• Develop process models to improve packaging and integration performance.
• Support daily integration and documentation tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
• Summarize results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
