Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Test Engineer to support RF, IF, Microwave, analog and digital hardware testing for missile programs. You will work with Operations, Design and Test Development, interpreting requirements and documenting procedures to drive root-cause resolution.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, data analysis, and issue resolution across production test platforms, with travel as required and a shift-premium noted for certain schedules.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 1+ year of testing experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for various effectors (missile) programs.
• Work closely with the Operations team and other engineering disciplines including Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Interpreting test requirements, developing and maintaining test procedures, and documenting test practices
• Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause
• Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technical issues relating to the production test process
• Developing and executing improvement projects to increase first pass yield
• Engagement with Design and Test Development teams to solve issues impacting production
• Ensuring hardware requirements are met and processes are followed
• Assisting manufacturing operators in the testing & troubleshooting of production hardware
• Supporting production test on multiple functional test platforms
• Travel as required
