Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a 3rd shift Senior Electrical Engineer in the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department to support production through debugging of test fixtures and test stations, with focus on RF/digital platforms and uptime.

The role requires a Bachelor's in STEM, 5+ years in test equipment design or troubleshooting, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The position is full-time and on-site in Andover.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level debugging on test fixtures and automated test stations.
• Trace faults to component level across RF, digital, and AC/DC platforms.
• Maintain test station uptime on the manufacturing floor.
• Document repairs and fault logs to minimize future troubleshoot efforts.
• Work with minimal supervision and coach technicians on troubleshooting.
• Interpret schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting of test stations.
• Design moderate improvements to test equipment to boost performance and uptime.
