Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA seeks a Test Engineer to support RF, IF, microwave, analog and digital hardware for missile programs. This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will collaborate with Operations, Design and Test Development teams to develop procedures, analyze data and drive yield improvements. This 2nd shift position includes an 8% premium and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with <2 years of relevant experience.
• 1+ year of testing experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for missile programs.
• Collaborate with Operations and other engineering disciplines (Product Design, Test Development, Manufacturing).
• Interpret test requirements, develop and document test procedures and practices.
• Analyze data to drive root cause.
• Generate Change Requests for production test issues.
• Develop and execute improvement projects to increase first pass yield.
• Engage with Design and Test Development teams to resolve production issues.
• Ensure hardware requirements are met and processes followed.
• Assist manufacturing operators in testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Support production test on multiple functional test platforms.
• Travel as required.
