Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Plant Maintenance/Groundman in Red Bay, AL to lead safety, quality and revenue initiatives across operations.

Wages depend on verifiable maintenance experience; 2-3 years mining experience required; 2nd shift with 3:00PM-12:00AM hours; overtime and weekend work may be required. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, inspections, preventive maintenance, lubrication, replacing liners and panels, belt adjustments, troubleshooting, and

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs.
• Previous fixed plant maintenance or mining industry experience is required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens is required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding is required.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Preventative Maintenance.
• Lubricating and cleaning mechanisms.
• Replacing crusher liners and screen panels.
