Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Red Bay, AL is seeking a 2nd Shift Plant Maintenance/Groundman to lead maintenance, conduct inspections, and perform preventative tasks on crushing and conveying systems. You will troubleshoot issues, replace components, and support safe, efficient plant operations.

The role requires a mechanical background, mining-related experience, and the flexibility to work evenings, with potential weekend OT and full-time stability in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose plant repairs.
• Experience with fixed plant maintenance or related mining industry required.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, and screens required.
• Fabricating, cutting, and welding experience required.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Lubricate and clean mechanisms.
• Replace crusher liners and screen panels as needed.
• Adjust and repair conveyor belts; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Ensure safety and operational efficiency of crushing plant equipment.
