Job summary

Red Diamond in Moody, AL is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift to keep production lines running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support line setups in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience, with Allen Bradley PLC exposure and strong electrical/mechanical skills. This role offers a 4-day work week and competitive pay with good benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical School/Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or related technical experience.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic is a plus.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment on production lines in a fast-paced environment.
• Performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Rebuilding pumps, conveyors, and other production-related equipment as needed.
• Completing scheduled work orders and documenting maintenance activities accurately.
• Assisting with line setups, changeovers, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Communicating equipment issues and updates with team members across shifts.
