Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Packaging & Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Jefferson, WI. The role leads an off-shift production team in a GMP/SQF environment, manages daily line assignments, material flow, and shift handoffs to sustain safety and quality.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate raw materials, uphold HACCP/GMP standards, and deliver on-time throughput while mentoring staff and maintaining a positive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a regulated packaging/production facility
• Solid working knowledge of GMP/HACCP/SQF food safety standards
• Proven ability to mentor teams and maintain positive culture
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or ERP scheduling tools

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and motivate an off-shift production crew and manage daily line assignments
• Coordinate raw material delivery and resource allocation to ensure daily throughput targets
• Uphold GMP/HACCP/SQF compliance and food safety standards
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve OEE and reduce bottlenecks
• Serve as the primary liaison between 1st and 2nd shift for seamless communication
• Maintain labor tracking logs, performance reviews, and production metrics
