Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician L2 to deliver maintenance and reliability services at our Wakefield facility.

You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support asset health improvements within a safety-focused, GMP-compliant environment. You will work with the plant maintenance and operations teams, participate in training, and help drive continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate preferred.
• 1–2 years of maintenance technician experience preferred.
• Trained in MFI MTL1 skills preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams preferred.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate with reliability and maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, and cost.
• Execute Precision Maintenance techniques and ensure tolerances are met.
• Perform technical troubleshooting with experienced maintenance staff.
• Assist with maintenance training and reliability procedures.
• Maintain records and support RCA and asset reliability improvement.
