Job summary

Michael Foods, Wakefield facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician L2 to deliver maintenance and reliability services. You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support asset health improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred SAP experience. Ability to read mechanical drawings and diagrams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or two-year technical certificate preferred.
• 1–2 years maintenance technician experience preferred.
• Trained in MFI MTL1 skills preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams preferred.
• Prior SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to interact across organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate with reliability and maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Execute precision maintenance techniques and ensure job tolerances are met.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform technical tasks with experienced staff.
• Assist in maintenance training and reliability procedures.
• Support quality commissioning of rebuilt or new equipment.
• Maintain records and support reliability reporting.
