Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility seeks a Maintenance Technician L1 for the second shift (M-F, 2 PM–10 PM). You will perform mechanical and electrical repairs, execute preventive maintenance, and support reliability initiatives while reading blueprints and schematics.

Proficiency with SAP and CMMS is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required, with additional technical training a plus. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Education as listed; trades experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with SAP and CMMS systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform all mechanical repairs on plant equipment.
• Address minor electrical repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics; use hand and power tools.
• Participate in reliability improvements and safety compliance.
• Support during weekends/holidays as required.
