Job summary
United Future in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to support Fanuc robotics and CNCs in a high‑volume die casting environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robotic/CNC cells, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and furnaces, with a focus on rapid line recovery and equipment uptime.
The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, hands-on robotics/CNC troubleshooting, and stable employment history.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting CNC controls and industrial robotics (Fanuc, ABB).
- Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics/pneumatics, or PLCs.
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and manuals.
Responsibilities
- Lead robotic and CNC recovery and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect and repair electrical control circuits, transformers, and PLC hardware.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, and cooling lines.
- Service furnaces and heavy machinery; move dies and support tool room activities.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain a clean 5S workspace.
