Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking Production Supervisors for a full-time, on-site bakery operation in North Carolina. You will lead a team of approximately 15–25 production employees across first, second, and third shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality output and meeting production goals.

You will coach and develop staff, monitor performance, and partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues while upholding GMPs and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing (bakery or frozen lines preferred).
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold staff accountable.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
