Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking Production Supervisors for an established bakery operation in North Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site role across first, second, and third shifts.

You will lead a hands-on team of 15–25 employees, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals while coaching staff and coordinating with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and drive efficiency. Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
