Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking a Network Administrator in Philadelphia, PA to provide onsite and remote Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers. You will handle LAN/WAN devices, servers, and related applications in a 24x7 environment, with after-hours on-call rotations and field operations support.

You will work under a team lead, required to communicate effectively, test configurations, and ensure system health and backups. A strong emphasis on security patches and incident resolution is essential.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen and pass DHS verification.
Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
5 years IT-related support experience.
3 years' enterprise support in a large organization.
1+ year lead role supervising 5+ staff.
Working knowledge of multiple software/hardware and networks.
Willingness to travel and on-call rotations.
Comfortable in a law enforcement environment.

Responsibilities

Provide LAN administrator support with network devices, servers, storage, and backups.
Support mobile and wireless devices including smartphones, tablets, and hotspots.
Test, apply, and maintain server configurations and security patches.
Monitor health of systems and backups; assist in restore testing.
Manage ITSM tickets and deliver timely reports.
Install and maintain VTC infrastructure and user requests.
Perform data center cabling and deployment support.
Contribute to design discussions and prepare briefing materials.
