Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to orchestrate fleet maintenance and ensure the right service providers are dispatched promptly. You’ll coordinate open events, verify authorization, assign the nearest provider, and inform customers of ETA while communicating delays to supervision in a 24/7/365 operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with 3 years in dispatching for breakdowns or heavy‑duty maintenance, or an advanced degree/certification in related tech.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in dispatching for breakdowns or heavy‑duty maintenance (or 5 years with alternate experience).
• Strong dispatching knowledge and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to keep vehicles road-ready.
• Assess and assign open events, verify authorization, and assign nearest service provider.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow supervisor instructions on delays or issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
