Job summary

Cortica is seeking a dedicated School Behavior Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. You will work with educators and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across their school day, adhering to ABA principles in educational environments.

The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–3:30 PM) with at least 4 paid hours per day while available, and includes administrative time

Qualifications

• 1:1 behavior support and data collection.
• Credentialed BCAT or RBT is preferred.
• Ability to follow school policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct implementation of holistic, neurodiversity-affirming behavior analytic services for students in one-on-one and group school settings.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care in students.
• Utilize a strengths-based approach with the educational team.
• Collect data on student progress and document session notes and incident reports.
• Follow crisis protocols and mandated reporting procedures.
