Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health is seeking a school-based Behavioral Technician to implement ABA plans in classrooms under BCBA supervision. You will deliver 1:1 and small-group therapy to students with autism, collecting data and adjusting goals as directed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff and equitable support across districts. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, willingness to obtain RBT certification within 45 days, and a valid driver's license to travel between

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of hire, with training provided by Surpass Behavioral Health.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region.
• Prior experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing positive behavior support plans, IEP, and/or 504 plans using ABA in school settings.
• Provide direct 1:1 or small group therapy to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect and report data on programs such as IEP goals, behavioral management, social skills, and academics.
• Collaborate with and train school district staff.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students and school teams.
