Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support a student per the IEP, providing customized behavior support and life skills coaching within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work one-on-one, implement behavior plans, track progress, and communicate with parents. The role requires a high school diploma and experience with behavioral interventions; training and credentialing support are provided, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with behavioral interventions preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in a team.
• Follow IEP goals and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with a student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans as needed.
• Record data on behaviors, progress, and incidents.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when required.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
