Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one with an assigned student, implement behavior plans, and record progress under the supervision of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, PBIS framework CASE, and collaboration with families. Minimum high school diploma required; paid training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
