Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will provide one-on-one support, implement behavior plans, and track data to monitor progress. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent behavior interventions and inclusive practices in a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with students to meet goals in IEPs and provide accommodations as needed.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent behavior support.
