Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in school settings. You will work one-on-one under IEP goals, help implement behavior plans, record data, and contribute to progress monitoring.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan delivery, provide personal care support as needed, and maintain open communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support one-on-one with assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Conduct de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed to ensure safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and support social/behavioral skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
