Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with individualized education plans.

You will provide customized behavior support, assist with life skills, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic guidance in diverse educational settings. You will collaborate with teachers, monitor progress, document behaviors, and communicate with families.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students with intensive behavioral needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP with accommodations as needed.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans; implement and track progress.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis management to maintain safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
