Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a 1:1 Aide to support students with intensive behavioral and educational needs in various settings.

You will work one-on-one with a student to implement IEP goals, provide behavior support, and help develop essential life skills. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic guidance, track progress, and ensure safe, supportive classroom environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in educational settings with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned student per IEP with accommodations and modifications.
• Deliver behavior support and teach life skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans and record progress data.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Foster an inclusive environment and monitor student safety during transportation and in school locations.
• Collaborate with parents and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent plan implementation.
