Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy seeks a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in a 1:1 ABA therapy setting under BCBA supervision. The candidate may hold BACB RBT certification or complete a 40‑hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, collecting data, training caregivers, maintaining documentation, and ensuring a safe, organized therapy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Follow client treatment plans and protocols set by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and safe therapy environments.
• Communicate progress with parents as directed by the BCBA.
