Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum under supervision of a BCBA. Candidates must hold and maintain RBT certification or be willing to complete training and pass the competency exam within 45 days.

This role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with families, and reliable daily attendance; you will work in a safe, kid‑friendly environment and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in background check if offered employment.
• Must have CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it with TB test within the past year.
• Must be able to physically perform the job (lift up to 50 lbs, get on floor, move quickly if needed).
• Must be reliable and able to attend all scheduled therapy appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA teaching in client care.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per the client’s treatment plan.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and follow established procedures.
• Communicate client progress with parents and BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
